Project manager
Working as the project manager on the SAP WM project I was in charge of the project implementation with our customer in Senec, Slovakia. I lead the local team cooperating with the international one focusing to satisfying the customer. My responsibilities included creating and managing the project schedule, deliverables, dependencies, risks and the mitigation plan. My tasks included building and managing the relationship with internal and customer stakeholders and operatives. I built and maintained strong relationships with key operational decision makers and establish a strong network within the customer organization. Managing day-to-day project activities includes status reporting, meeting facilitation, scope check, conflicting priorities management and issue escalations. My duties also included developing and integrating logistic processes, internal procedures consolidation as well as operational standardization and trainings. I also conducted post implementation back checks to ensure design/ commercial model meet customer and DHL expectations. I led the business knowledge research meetings to ensure a deep understanding of the customers operational requirements and bring a new way of thinking to deliver compelling solutions to the customer. Drawing from the wide range of valuable experiences and producing significant contributions to projects and business I acted as key interface between the senior management and project management. I analyzed performance gaps and tracking customer escalations. I actively supported customer specific improvement programs, and drove proactive PI and operation excellence initiatives activities across the operation. I managed complex logistics operation within the distribution center providing the oversight for all functions contained within the site. Responsible for managing the specific P&L: costs, IT/Headcount, productivity, vendor cost/ service value – all components of P&L for the facility and ensuring all metrics are achieved or recalibrated strategically. I was assigning and directing activities and projects across the site to meet various customer and logistics needs as set by the Operations Director. I worked with functional team, business development and leadership to accomplish and develop strategy for the site and supporting both the internal and external customers. Being responsible for maintaining integrity in the use of company assets such as inventory, supplies, equipment. Also responsible for conducting yearly assesment workshop in an effort to build a personal development plan for key roles. I conducted monthly employee meetings to communicate organization and site updates. Managed employee satisfaction levels thus fostering high employee retention. Managed site quality function: monitor internal/ external quality controls; track service commitment levels and effectiveness, develop new quality initiatives; implement best practices. I was esponsible for successful operational implementation of SAP installation including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation. Analyzing and maping clients’ business requirements, processes and objectives. I developed necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs. Building and maintaining relationships with customers developing own professional learning of SAP EWM and technologies. Customer facing account management, leveraging the best possible profitability against clearly aligned service level agreements – service and cost. Identifying growth opportunities that provide synergy to the existing business profile.

I was in charge of the distribution center operations management, 300+ emloyees, 3 shift operation. Assuring the integrated management system is in place, performing internal audits, managing continuous improvement projects, communicating with the customer, assuring the site readiness within the business continuity management. From the first weeks of my engagement on the site I started the project of the site strategy operations improvement through 5 key elements, Idea, Standardisation, Training, Control, Quality. The strategy is in line with DHL Supply chain strategy 2015 and helps the site and its employees in undurstading and improving their roles and efficiency at work.
